GOD'S LOVE

The largest waterfall in the world is invisible to normal observation. It's an under-the-surface waterfall beneath the Denmark Strait. There's a steep drop off in which ocean currents plunge from 2000 feet beneath sea level to depths of 10,000 feet - nearly a 2-mile drop of moving water, all invisible to those above the waterline.

Beneath the surface of the Christians' life, the Spirit of God plunges deeply into our hearts with His love. That's the largest unseen cataract in the world - the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

What a blessing! We cannot love others out of the reservoir of our own ability to love. We can only love our brothers and our sisters out of the love of God given to us. That's how we love someone who seems unlovable to us. We stop a moment and realize how unlovable we were when God poured His love out to us. If God can pour His love into us like Niagara Falls, His love can channel its way through us to people who are unlovable.

"Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:8).
"God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Romans 5:5

DID YOU KNOW?
  • --At the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. A National Gathering of Prayer and Repentance took place February 1st. Several members of Congress and many pastors prayed individually for our country and for all the sins that are so prevalent. Many of the prayers were comparing our country to that of Babylon and how God would use heathen countries to come in and destroy His people when they so flagrantly sinned by disobeying Him.
  • --Asbury College in Kentucky just closed a revival after more than 2 weeks where thousands came to gather and feel the presence of God in their midst. Students from more than 22 colleges came to the revival and several other colleges have also had a similar revivals break out. Pray that revival will spread throughout our land!
